What are the design, molding and custom manufacturing services of polyurethane parts in Isfahan?
What is meant by design, molding and custom manufacturing services of polyurethane parts in Isfahan is a set of actions that starts from examining the customer's technical needs and continues until part design, mold preparation, raw material selection, production and quality control.
In many production lines, the use of ready-to-market parts does not meet all needs. A machine may require a part with specific dimensions, specific hardness, or a different geometric shape. In such a situation, custom manufacturing of polyurethane parts can be a practical solution.
In this process, the use of the piece and its working conditions are checked first. Then information such as dimensions, pressure, type of wear, ambient temperature and installation method are specified. Based on this information, the initial design of the piece is prepared and, if needed, its special mold is made.
The purpose of this process is not only to produce a piece; Rather, a product should be designed that is compatible with the existing equipment and can meet the functional needs of the industrial complex.
Aria Sanat Isfahan can help to choose the right solution in the process of choosing and ordering polyurethane parts, by examining the technical needs of the project and the expected specifications of the customer. To know the details of the services that can be provided, it is better to discuss the specifications of the desired piece directly with the collection.
What is polyurethane and why is it used in the production of industrial parts?
Polyurethane or PU is a family of polymer materials that can have different properties according to the formulation and production method. This material is produced in hard, semi-hard and flexible types, and it is possible to adjust its characteristics according to the final application.
One of the reasons for the industry's acceptance of polyurethane is the ability to combine several functional features in one material. For example, some grades of polyurethane can perform well against wear and at the same time provide the flexibility needed to absorb shock.
Good abrasion resistance
In equipment where parts are in constant contact with other surfaces, wear can reduce performance accuracy, cause vibration, or increase repair costs. Choosing the right grade of polyurethane can help increase the wear resistance of the part.
Ability to produce in different hardness
One of the important features of polyurethane is the possibility of producing it in different hardness ranges. This feature makes it possible to use softer materials for applications that require flexibility, and harder grades for some applications that require load bearing or shape retention.
Shock absorption and vibration reduction
Some polyurethane parts are suitable for shock absorption and reducing vibration transmission due to their elasticity. This feature is important in the design of bumpers, industrial pads and protective parts.
The possibility of designing in various shapes
Polyurethane can be shaped in different formats. Therefore, parts with simple or complex geometry can be produced based on the technical needs of the project; Of course, the feasibility of manufacturing depends on the type of material, production method and mold design.
The possibility of replacement in some applications
In some situations, polyurethane parts can be a good substitute for rubber parts or some other materials. However, the choice of alternative material should be done according to pressure, temperature, chemical contact, wear rate and actual work conditions.
Polyurethane parts design services based on customer needs
Correct design is the first step to achieve an efficient and durable piece. Even if high-quality raw materials are selected, poor design can cause premature component failure, difficult installation, or poor performance.
In the design, molding and custom manufacturing services of polyurethane parts in Isfahan, it is very important to pay attention to the real needs of the customer. Each part must be designed considering the working conditions, installation space and expected performance.
Checking the application and working conditions of the part
Before starting the design, it should be determined in which device the part is used and what its task is. Is the part exposed to continuous wear? Should it absorb shock? Does it come into contact with oil, moisture or chemicals? The answers to these questions help to choose the right materials and design.
Determining the required dimensions and tolerances
The dimensions of the piece must be compatible with the installation location and other components of the device. In some applications, dimensional tolerances are very important, and it is necessary to choose the mold design and production method according to them.
Providing a technical drawing, a sample of an old part or an accurate measurement of the installation location can make the design process easier.
Selection of hardness and type of polyurethane
All polyurethanes do not have the same properties. Material selection should be done according to the amount of load, flexibility, wear, working temperature and environment of use. If there is not enough information, checking the sample of the piece and the actual work conditions can help to make a better decision.
Modifying and optimizing the design
Sometimes with a slight change in the thickness, radius of the corners, joint location or the structure of the part, production can be simplified and performance can be improved. Examining these items before making the template will prevent some correction costs in the next steps.
Molding of polyurethane parts; An important step in custom production
Moulding is one of the main steps in the production of polyurethane parts. The right mold helps to form the product correctly and affects the surface quality, dimensional accuracy, ease of part separation, and production repeatability.
In special orders, the design and manufacture of the mold should be done according to the geometry of the part, the production method and the required number.
Mold design based on the part plan
At this stage, the map or 3D model of the part is checked. The shape of the mold cavity, the material entry paths, the possibility of air exit and the method of separating the part from the mold are among the issues that should be evaluated according to the production process.
Choosing the material of the mold
The material of the mold is selected according to the production circulation, the complexity of the part, the required accuracy and the process conditions. For some projects, metal forms are suitable, and for some applications, other options are suitable. The final decision should be made by considering cost, durability and technical requirements.
Making and preparing the mold
After the design is finalized, the mold is made and prepared for production. At this stage, the quality of the surface, the compatibility of the components and the dimensions of the cavity are important. Any errors in the format may be transferred to the final product.
Template testing and possible modification
Before production in the desired circulation, conducting a test production can help identify possible defects. Examining the dimensions, appearance and performance of the part provides useful information to modify the mold or adjust the production process.
In industrial projects, basic molding can help reduce waste, increase product uniformity, and better manage production costs.

Customized production in such situations helps collections to order parts that fit the dimensions and needs of their device.
Bumpers and protective parts
In industrial equipment, it is important to absorb shock and prevent direct collision of components. Some types of polyurethane are suitable for making bumpers, protective pads and similar parts.
In the design of these parts, the amount of impact energy, the installation space, the required hardness and the number of contact times should be checked.
Polyurethane rollers and covers
In some applications of material transfer and industrial handling, rollers or polyurethane coatings are used. The required properties of these parts depend on the type of contact surface, load, rotation speed and environmental conditions.
To achieve proper performance, it is necessary to choose the type of polyurethane and the method of connecting it to the core of the part carefully.
Custom bushings, washers and parts
Depending on working conditions, some bushings, washers, special seals and similar parts can be produced from polyurethane materials. Of course, not all sealing applications are suitable for polyurethane, and chemical compatibility, temperature and pressure must be checked.
Advantages of ordering custom polyurethane parts
Ordering custom parts is valuable when the final product is properly matched to the needs of the machine and the production process. In such a situation, choosing the right manufacturer can affect quality, supply time, and long-term costs.
Adapting to dimensions and technical specifications
In custom production, it is possible to check the dimensions and shape of the piece based on the map or sample. This issue is very important for devices that use dedicated parts.
Appropriate selection of raw materials
Instead of choosing a general material for all applications, the grade of polyurethane can be checked according to the needs of the project. This reduces the possibility of choosing the wrong material.
Help reduce maintenance costs
If the new part is compatible with the actual working conditions in terms of design and material, the interval between replacements may be increased and maintenance costs may be reduced. The amount of this improvement depends on the application and design quality and should be evaluated in practice.
The possibility of producing special or rare parts
In some old equipment or special machines, it is difficult to get ready spare parts. In these cases, making a part based on a sample or a map can be a solution to meet the need; Provided that the appropriate design and materials are identifiable.
